A thirty-year-old vintage Persian rug, Tabriz. A distinctive and crisp geometric medallion - a unique design of medallion, I would say. This 30-year vintage has a feature sought by many collectors, a feature that proves 100% vegetable, organic, and natural dyes. When observed closely in the photos, you will see the reddish and pink background color are inconsistent throughout the rug. This is perfectly natural for vegetable dyes. When processing vegetable dyes, one bottle (or one unit) of color may not contain exactly the same ingredients, and over time, the natural dyes age slightly differently. You may see this "natural aging" feature to be imitated in mass-produced rugs.

Remark
These photos / images are not edited.
Shown in the pictures are: front, front-rotated, front with a corner folded, close-up to see knots, back, and back close-up.
We believe that it is important to show all these detailed pictures for several reasons. The back is also important for highly valued rugs because the back is really the "soul" of this rug. The last two of the seven pictures are the back side of this rug.
One of a kind due to the nature of handmade.
