Antique, over 100 years old. Near mint-condition.
This is an antique Kashan Mohtasham woven in Central Persia around 1900. With a central medallion and an arabesque design, the floral pattern is typical of Mohtasham Kashan rugs. Rugs from this region are known for their palmettes and floral designs. This piece is extremely hard to find due to its immaculate condition, as many Kashans have been worn over time. The colors in the rug are still vibrant and well preserved.
